Q. How much does it cost to make an app?
How long is a piece of string? Developing apps can be very simple or very involved. Here at Mighty Kingdom we have worked on a variety of apps. To give you a rough idea, a ‘simple’ static app would be cost around $3000-5000. An ‘intermediate’ app with more features would cost $8000-12000. Feature packed apps that connect to external databases would cost $15000+. Get in touch with us so that we can go through your project and provide you with a better idea on costs.
Q. What is the process for making an app?
Great question. We get this question all the time. Making an app is quite simply coming up with an idea, testing to see if the idea is viable, scoping the project, develop the programming, create a great interface, test the app, submit the app to Apple App Store and then provide ongoing maintenance for the app.
Q. I have a good idea. Can you make me an app?
It depends. We get requests to make all sorts of apps. And as much as we would love to help, we really need to pick and choose which projects to work on.
Q. How much does Apple take for a sale of an app?
Around 30% of the app sale price.
Q. I have an idea can we have a joint venture and split the profits?

Q. How long does it take to make an app?
The development life cycle takes around 6-8 weeks.
Q. How do I make a successful app?
We believe the key to make a successful app is to make something that solves a problem or has an existing market that wants it. As part of our development process, we have a Market Research phase where we test the market even before we start to build the app.
Q. All I have to do is make any app, sell it for $0.99, capture 0.0001% of the market and sell 1,000,000 copies of the app, I will be a millionaire right?
Maybe if your app was the only app in the world. Gone are the days when you can get that many downloads by creating ‘anything’! Go back to the basics and focus on making something that people love and use. The money will follow.
