Mighty Kingdom Honoured for Storytelling at Global Game Awards

Mighty Kingdom’s Star Trek: Lower Decks, in partnership with East Side Games and Paramount, has won the highly coveted Best Storytelling award at the Pocket Gamer Mobile Game Awards in London. This prestigious award recognises our studio's exceptional storytelling skills and ability to captivate players with engaging narratives.

The awards ceremony took place at the British Academy of Film & Television Arts (BAFTA) headquarters in Piccadilly, London, where top professionals and key figures from the global gaming industry gathered to celebrate excellence in mobile game development and design.

Mighty Kingdom’s Chief Revenue Officer, Tony Lawrence, expressed his pride in the recognition from industry peers, stating that “our partnership with East Side Games and Paramount has been fantastic throughout the development of this game and continues to go from strength to strength.”

Star Trek: Lower Decks takes players on a journey through the beloved Star Trek universe. Set in the year 2380, the game follows the misadventures of the crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos, a second-tier Starfleet ship. The game has received critical acclaim for its engaging storyline, witty writing, and faithful recreation of the Star Trek universe.

“We're particularly humbled given the great games nominated for this award and are really looking to share more stories from the Star Trek: Lower Decks universe with our players with the release of two more episodes from this week", added Mr Lawrence.

At Mighty Kingdom, we take pride in our dedication to developing captivating and immersive mobile games. Winning this award is a testament to our commitment to creating high-quality, entertaining games that keep players coming back for more. We look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of mobile game development and design, and to delivering more unforgettable gaming experiences to our players.
